Good catch, bro.

Yep, that is Space Sherrif Gavan/Galivan, along with Sharivan (red), Shaider (blue), Juspion (top). The other 2 are from Kamen Riders Black RX.

Man those character designs are so good. I need to grab some figures of them.

Also if you like Gravity Rush, the toy company I work for made some super deformed versions. They came out really well.

not as a hobby, will add more if circumstances allow including timing.
do have a complete set of FF-spirits within figure set still in packages, as well as a few gundam ones.
my favorite has to be ashe of FF XII.
not cracked it open....what a waste. :p
kasumi of DOA series (by katayama hiroki) isn't an action figure, no movable joints, though it does come with a removable katana letter opener...for whatever reason. (1/6 scale figure)
there's a fuckin master chief 117 1/1 scale figure i'm looking to score, not counting my chances.
version is the first iteration of halo FPS series, with a pair of smg-pistols brandished. :D

Yo Rocky! I really like this company, the sculpt & detail is so nice. Rocky looks amazing but his dog Butkus looks even better.

So, i pretty much ran out of room to display my movie statues, i ended up ordering Ikea cabinets to display them. Getting it Thursday.

He is a very solid figure, very well build. The likeness is impeccable for such a small figure. His articulations are so so, the torso & hips are kind of limited. Interestingly, those gloves are hard rubbers. I like his fabric pants, but don't ask me whats underneath it LOL.

Although he is at 1/10 scale & makes him towers most of my anime figures so he looks kinda giant awkward. But my Johj is hella taller than him haha.
I can't wait until I get my hands on Goro & Rugal. :D

Got my first Prime 1 statue for my birthday. Im just blown away from the paint app and the detail. Love this so much, going to have to order Zodd next & Armor Berserk. Not sure about Griffith the exclusive isn't sold at Sideshow and not wanting to pay the crazy oversees prices for just a helmet. I heard they were fixing the face though.

I finally found a good place to put this mega man x figure with zero, right next to my CRT on the stand I built.

I bought X like 6 years ago, opened it up and put it back in the box. Didn't have a good place to put it since it doesn't come with a stand and can be kinda unstable. This one is pretty retarded to buy now since it hasn't been reprinted since 2011.

I hope they reprint regular X sometime since you can switch armor parts with it. A shame they never made a mega man x2 full armor version, that was always my favorite design wise.

If you're going to spend all that money on a Rocky figure, why pose him like a 1940s movie actress?

I love the scale of this but man, in those pics the overall piece looks way busier than it did in the promo photos they put out, does it come across as crowded in person? There's almost too many details in the base from where I'm standing

I didn't pose him, its a statue not a doll. I dont care for the pose either but the face sculpt is just too good. Its the best Rocky out.

I know quite a bit of people are split but i just love the busy base. If you're going to spend $1k on statue i want my monies worth. Everything excellent and everyone who has seen it in person are just blown away by it.

Speaking being blown, i just got this in today. I didn't think it would convert but i got it. Fucking Thanos on a throne. What is it about throne pieces that just bad ass. The paint, the detail, & sculpt fucking excellent. Still need to find a better display option and probably should get an Infinity Wars poster to match it.

Here is the throne, ill probably take pics of the back of it later on when i get display spinner. This is one of those pieces that you can admire at all angles.

Prime 1 is no joke, i'm a Alien/Predator collector and looking forward to what they have in store considering they now have the licenses, besides the 1/3 scale dog alien which I have no room to display

Picked up a random Ziploc bag of action figures Saturday for cheap. All I really wanted was Destro, but the other four are okay too.

First up is the 30th Anniversary SW: AotC Jango Fett. Missing 90% of his accessories (2 pistols, helmet, jetpack, poncho, shin guards & jetpack)--all this one had was his removable chest armor. That's okay if all you want is "spending quality time playing Neo-Geo with Boba in their apartment on Kamino" casual Jango I guess.

jango fett 30th.jpg

Mini Foot Soldier from the 2K3 cartoon version of TMNT. The hands are molded to hold accessories, but, unless I'm wrong, my research indicates that he didn't come with any, so, I guess Playmates was doing these on the cheap.

Generic desert camouflage soldier from M&C Toy's (a Chinese toy company) Power Team Elite franchise. As far as I know, these are only sold at Big Lots, but, our local Big Lots went out of business about 2-3 years ago, so, I haven't seen any in the wild for quite some time. This is the first smaller scale one I've ever acquired, but I have around a dozen of their larger 12" PTE figures, which are relatively impressive sixth scale military and police figures for their insanely low price point (I think they cost around ~$15 now, but when I first started buying them, they were only about $9-10). BEWARE if you have children/pets that chew on toys though, as PTE figures have a lead dust/content warning on their boxes (that being the case, I don't know how they can even legally be sold here in the US), so, definitely not the safest playthings to own. Kind of looks like Hulk Hogan too.

PTE 3 3-4.jpg

For comparison purposes, here's a shot of this smaller 3-3/4" PTE figure with one of my 12" ones, and, yes, it's a fooking doll!

Star Wars: Clone Wars clone trooper. I'm guessing that he might be a relatively important character on the animated show, but I can't keep all those fucking clone characters straight, especially when they all look like the same guy to begin with (good ol' Jango above). I have Dorling Kindersley's Star Wars: Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia, and, even after looking through that whole book, I still couldn't tell you who the hell this guy is supposed to be, anybody know? I imagine he's probably missing at least a blaster, and possibly a helmet.

EDIT: Did some searching and identified him; he's a "Clone Trooper Heavy", so, I guess he's just a generic soldier and not anyone important after all! Missing a helmet, blaster, chaingun & projectile.

clone trooper.jpg

And good old chromedome Destro himself. Hard to say for sure what he's missing, accessory-wise, as this 25th Anniversary figure was released multiple times, both singly and with other figures, with varying amounts of stuff. That said, the first version included a stand, pistol for the holster on his thigh, briefcase, and a submachine gun that this one lacks. He's still got the red rockets on his forearm that he always used on the cartoon though, so, this Destro is still ready to throwdown if he has to. My Cobra Commander needed someone to bitch at and blame things on when things go wrong, which, for a comically inept villain like CC, is every five minutes.

And, lastly, Ren-Chan will appreciate this if no one else will. A plush Nick from Zootopia:

Pow-ah Gay-zah! The shards of rock in the eruption are a really nice touch--I don't think I've ever seen that done in a toy energy burst effect before.

Sunstreaker & Sideswipe look awesome too!

Got myself a KO Oversize Starscream. Man these are way better then the original and just love the size of these. Quality seem way better too! Getting the Megatron one in couple days.

rat king.jpg

Rat King from the 2013 Nickelodeon TMNT reboot. Missing a white rat and a staff (he can't stand for shit without it either, so, I may have to make him one). I actually like this design a lot better than Eastman & Laird's. Someone online (Matt from X-Entertainment/Dinosaur Dracula I think) once described classic Rat King's appearance as a "mummy hobo", which is pretty accurate (how the fuck did he ever make it as the sub-boss in SNES Tournament Fighters?) Well, this new take still looks like a mummy hobo, but he's also a lot classier and more sinister in appearance. He reminds me of Chakan the Forever Man, classic WWF Undertaker, and Caleb from Blood. Surprisingly dark redesign for a kid's cartoon really.

Got Megatron and man he's pretty awesome too. Was mostly just going to use him as a foot pedestal for Starscream but he turned out great. Might have to get Prime too.
