still comparitively that box could be halved with the size of the game card.

True, I guess since the DS box are already perfect Sony didn't want to straight up rip them off so they shrunk the psp game cases

I do like more of the transparent boxes that are used for the PS3\PSP games, though.

I think its pretty shitty the game come without a manual... its part of the magic when actually buying something original.

I wish this would mean that they'd make smaller cases. All that plastic leaves a far bigger foot print, and you can't plant more; big cases + no manuals = dumb as f**k

On a side note, is the system cool so far? I'm thinking about picking one up next week, just haven't decided on whether to wait or not.

Yeah it's weird they'd ditch the paper but still keep plastic

I played Wipeout on the demo unit and it was a blast, I guess I'll have to wait for next week when mine shows up to really try it all out

They probably retained some of the bulk just to keep it visible on a store shelf, and ditched the manuals to save their green. Paper products tend to be fairly Eco-friendly comparatively.
