So, been a busy beat 'em up week. I have been playing Demolish Fist and Knights of Valor on my Atomiswave, and I just bought D&D Tower of Doom for CPS2 and Knights of the Round for CPS1. Planning on quite a lot of button Smashing this week!

I listened to the recent Retronauts podcast about Double Dragon, so I got out my Famicom and played some Double Dragon 1 and 2. I still love those games.

I think I prefer the Sega Master System version of Double Dragon to the Nintendo one. I grew up with the SMS version and played it with my brothers all the time.

Double Dragon still kicks a lot of ass.

Nice! Sad I sold that one years ago. Miss it.

I've been level grinding on Oriental Legend 2. Probably the most addictive brawler I've played in ages.

Double Dragon Neon and Brawl Brothers.
Can't get enough of them both and have loved Brawl Brothers since 93.

Die Hard Arcade on st-v. Far from perfect, and pretty ugly tbh, but it's good fun. I like the "throaty" voices of all the bad guys when they knock you down saying "yeah":lolz:

that game is so badass! I wish I had played it in the arcade. Tight controls, fast moves, wrestling theme, it wins on all levels.

Sweet! I got mine a few weeks ago but haven't put much time into it yet.

I played some Alien vs. Predator and Battle Circuit on my Capcom 18 in 1 yesterday though.

You know, I can't say that I have played most of the games I like in the arcades when they were somewhat current...but I did get to play Knuckle Bash.
