Possibly. It depends on what the add-on board looks like.

shadowkn55, would you have any spare cases I could purchase. I have ALL the pieces I need, except the case and the MV-1C, thanks man. I have great ratings on a few sites.

The other parts you will be using probably won't fit inside the case properly. I designed the controller and encoder boards to be as compact as possible and specific to this case. So things like a jrok or a vogatek won't mount properly onto the screw holes.

Makes sense, I would honestly love the kit, is $299 your minimum, any chance you'd go lower? I understand you need to make back your $$, plus make some $$. But never hurts to ask. If I were to purchase, would I get it within a few weeks?

I've started my own, but I found out my board is REALLY BAD. Any chance your design comes with "kit" specific instructions.

    Thanks.

The price is already very competitive for what you are getting. It would be a tough commission to get someone to produce a comparable product for less.

I do have a couple kits remaining at the moment. When they are sold out, you'll have to wait a few weeks while a new batch is being produced.

Thanks for the quick replay, I might just drop the dough for the $500.00 and save myself the trouble. You guys take visa, so that's fine.

Thanks for the reply. If you did support it, could an existing system be upgraded? (Possibly offer an upgrade service for existing owners)

Are the MVS boards used in the complete system new or used? If used has the battery been replaced? Were any changes made to make it user replaceable for down the road?

Is the Universe BIOS that's included socketed? Just thinking ahead in the event it get's updated to a newer version.

Any chance of changing the color of the LED if ordered? (Say blue for instance)

Really nice piece of work you've done here, I had always hoped someone would make a CMVS styled after the AES but never though it would ever happen.

I have one of the two Neo Geo consolized systems made by Ben Heckendorn (the silver side loading one) and always thought it looked great, but your machine is fantastic.

shadow, got a quick question. I bought a component/svideo modded home system from you a year or so ago and I lost the composite/svideo cable. Will the s-video/composite cable from the CMVS kit work with it?

To support the memory card, I'd have to make modifications to the injection mold to account for the mounting holes and a slot into one of the sides for the card. Ideally, I'd like to have it on the front of the system but that requires the most extensive changes (i.e. very costly). Any upgrade service would require an entire replacement of the case.

The boards are used but I fully them them before shipping them out. The batteries are tested as well and replaced as needed.

The bios is mounted with an NBM so it's easily removed if updates to the unibios become available. Changes to the LED color are not available.

    @GohanX,
The cables for the omega aren't compatible with the modded aes you have. They have different style plugs. If you need another one, PM me and I can make you a replacement.

I'd still like to have the memory card support on any home system, so if this can become an option down the road I am all for it (even if it means having to purchase a whole new case).

Primarily I see me getting this system for all the future NG : DEV.TEAM games to insure 100% compatibility.

That, and having a brand spanking new looking system and with component video to boot.

Looks like its time to start dumping some extra Neo stuff I've been holding onto.

Shadow, I've been trying to buy one of your mvs units and have had no luck with your site. Found this thread and decided to try contacting you here. I wanted to order an omega and a component cable. Message me.

Edit: Never mind. Picking one up second hand.

I tried adding a system to the shopping cart but nothing showed up. Same problem on your end?

The site hasn't worked right ever since he put it up back at the beginning of the year. I wonder what he still his left for sale, I like his product better than the wooden CMVS.

It's a shame. This thing looks so damn sexy, but there seems to be no way of actually getting in touch with this dude through the site. Here I am, money in hand, and no one is tending the shop.

Using Firefox. I managed to place an order, but the status has been "pending" for a week with no response to messages sent to his sales email. The site seems to be deserted, really. I'm currently trying to get one second hand.
