Yeah, the "Flashmasta" cart is another part of the project. It's hit a rough patch recently, though, and this hardware business is slow going to begin with.

Also, Mike26, I don't think we haven anything that needs testing at the moment. Sometime, maybe soon, we may be ready for people like you to try the "Linkmasta" with their old flash carts.

Recently my ver.1 has reverted to unformatted state. I wonder if it's running out of power, but how could that be?

You sure it hasn't accidentally switched to the second bank?

Any updates dudes?

Most of the updates have been posted to
ngpc.freeplaytech.com

The latest is that there are 3 more prototype NGPC-only "Linkmasta" units available. Once these are gone, we'll be hitting the "Flashmasta" unit development harder, and work on the NGPC/Savemasta Linkmasta (that can interface with NGP carts and Savemasta cards and have an expansion port for future uses).

Oh, and if any of you are interested in purchasing one of these 3 prototype units, leave a message at the aforementioned website.

Since I had two memory cards, I copied each of their contents onto a bank, so both banks had save files in them.

When I checked the neosavemasta in AES memory card utility "display data name", rather than display no data, it reads "memory card not formatted". Implying a power failure of sorts.

Just checked it again. Both banks had reverted to the unformatted state.

Did you leave it in the system when you powered the system on?

I plugged it in my cab after the title screen showed up and before pressing start. There was no prompt to load. So I checked it in AES memory card manager. That's when I found out there's nothing left on it. I don't leave it (or the memory card) in my cab when it's not in use.

I just added a Savemasta socket to the latest revision of the Linkmasta. Here you can see it (with the previous revision shown in a case).

What are the header pins for behind the SaveMasta socket?

Flavor does great work. I would have bought a usb linker, except the fact it's a little pricey for me right now. he actually made me my Snk vs Capcom card fighters 2 NGPC.
