Post your AES serial number, board revision (if known) and power supply voltage (+5, +9, +10, +11 etc).

To find your board revision

If you don't see a 3-X number then you have a 1st gen or 1st revision with the daughterboard most likely.

Here comes NeoConsoleMan... :lolz:

And to start you off, my serial numbers are...

032721 and 043136

Not sure of the revision/voltage at the moment, I will add that later.

Haha, not for neoconsoleman. I just want to see how common board swaps are in the systems and see who has certain board revisions.

Here's some from what I've logged. Not an all-inclusive list, just what I have with the info you're looking for. I wish I was more proactive about logging the info.

Well, that didn't keep the table layout. I'll email you a spreadsheet.

I've had about 8 or 9 AES machines pass though my possession, but I didn't start logging the serials until recently.

267665 - my current machine, modded JP by Xian Xi with component and UniBios 2.3, acquired May 2009
016630 - unmodded US, sold Feb 2011 to a buyer in Mexico
114160 - modded JP, S-video and Unibios 2.0. Owned for 3 or 4 years, sold June 2009 to a buyer in Seattle, WA.
013893 - unmodded US, sold August 2006 to a buyer in New York, NY.

Edit: Looks like my old 114160 was one of Jeff Kurtz' machines! I don't know who I bought it from.

I mean if there were a dozen pages, that would be one thing.

This is a thread that never took off so dragging it's remains to the forefront means...

Is this model one of the "good" ones?

Edit: Oh crap, just noticed it's an ancient thread. Sorry for that.

They are all good. The serial number thing is bullshit. I've gotten perfect RGB from a 3-6 revision and my current 3-5 looks perfect after an RGB bypass.

Oh thank you! I selected my Neo between two machines depending on the RGB signal and sound output through the headphone jack of course. Last Resort title sound when the logo builds up told me which machine has a clean sound output. It even has some kind of Unibios which sadly only works for games upto 1995. A Uni 4.0 would be a dream. Is Uni 4.0 still available? If so, how much coins and where?

RGB is OK, little soft. My MVS has razorsharp RGB. It's one of better ones I guess? Here a pic of it:
