XBLA Gameroom: The Konami Windy

This may be old news, but here's something I found out today.


I haven't been in XBLA's Gameroom since the failed service opened up. When I went there today I found that they now have both Twin Bee and Detana!! Twin Bee featured on Konami Windy cabs.

dood im sorry but i have no idea what this is, can you explain the service? is it supposed to be like playstation home? i see your pics there pretty fuckin cool. sick to see a candy cab in a virtual relm

The Game Room was a failed Xbox Live project to have a classic arcade within Xbox Live. The theory was that people on your friends list could head over to your arcade and vice versa. You can pay per play (like using quarters) or buy the machine and play it as much as you want.

Apparently, Sunset Riders was supposed to have been in the last download pack. They'll probably release this as a stand alone XBLA game.


Shortly after the botched initial release, Krome Studios announced layoffs.
