Hey I've looked everywhere but I can't figure out how to jump up and snag homeruns in baseball 2020. Thanks for any help.

Nothing really special about them, just practice and timing.

First off, the ball has to be catchable. In a lot of instances the home run, or foul ball, is hit high enough that it is not going to be caught off a jump pad. Secondly, you have to align yourself perfectly in line with where the ball looks to be headed so that your jump straight up will be positioned with the flight path of the ball. Lastly, you need to time the jump so you go up right as your fielder comes into view and before the ball actually passes him, with his high point momentum roughly meeting the ball flight path.

If everything falls into place, you'll grab it. But seeing how few home runs are right on a straight line to center where you're in the position to grab the ball, this is going to be a fairly uncommon occurrence. However, you have a much better chance of doing this on foul ball popups that are in play, as each special catch nets you $1500 instead of the standard $300-500 (something like that) for an out. I also do sliding outs on popups that stays in the air long enough to get the money bonus. You can amass a significant amount by the middle innings and power-up your middle of the order guys for at least two-three at bats the rest of the game.
