Too many hacks..... 161-in-1 is really a misleading title. When will one of these companies "get it" and release a cart with nothing but roms of genuine games.

Nobody here wants to play Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

It's all about keeping the revenue rolling in, if they released a 160-1 or whatever, with all the original neo games, no one would buy their next cart.
Far too many KoF games(im sure thats the 3rd time ive said that )

It's a sub PCB that has to be mounted on the jamma edge and then plugged into the cart. So for people that have a consolized 2 slot, you can't use it.

Interesting.... I have the 150-in-1 (came with my shiny new cab), and it's glitchy as hell with my 2-slotter.... I'm guessing they all are? The issues I have been having:

-sound is super glitchy if 2 carts are inserted, removing the other one fixes this

-sometimes, when switching games through the menu, the screen goes all wibbly-wobbly. Powering down and on doesn't fix it, but removing the multi and booting with a genuine cart remedies this. Having only one cart inserted helps, but the problem still occurs randomly.

The 138-in-1 sounds way better than the cart I have (NAM 1975!), but I don't want another glitchy mess.... one's enough for me.

Any tips to improve performance? The cab seller is willing to trade my 2 slotter for a 1 slot.... but I'm almost positive the board I have is the original one for this cab, and, all of my happy childhood Neo Geo memories revolve around a shiny red MVS-2 cab ^_^

That's the problem - the PSU was swapped out before I bought it - I bet it has something to do with it not being a Neo PSU, correct?

I could swear that the timing is off in these games. There's just a sluggishness and AI unresponsiveness that I noticed. Then the resetting annoyed the HELL out of me and I was using an MVH-1 !!

I recall reading somewhere that the 161, 150, etc., are meant to be used in 2,4,6 slot boards and the 138 is for 1-slots. Maybe that was the issue?

For 111 in 1, series 1: Can you use this cart with a consolized 1 slot with Uni-Bios? Can you play MVS AND AES modes with Uni-Bios 3.0?

Does anybody have experience ordering from this company? Wondering how legit they are, since nobody else seems to have the 161-in-1 yet.

I wish they would hurry their asses up and release one with Ninja Masters & Waku Waku 7 that doesn't require the sub board.

Oh yeah 2D Master. What game is that in your sig? I remember having it on a shareware floppy back in the day.

LOL That's not a bad idea!

BTW, I went ahead and ordered from excellentcom.net, and I love them already. They took pics of my cart & gamelist card while they were packing it, and even including a pic of the sealed package and mailing label. Now I know exactly what it looks like, and that it's addressed correctly.

well the "legit" chinese companies need to prove themselves SOME how right? extra mile = returning customer.

you know, so that when 162-1 comes out you'll buy it.

Well, it's my first multicart, but if another comes out that I want, I'd really be doing a public service by reselling it to those folks who're afraid to order anything from HK.

111 in 1 cart works with Unibios 3.0, you can use cheats, change region, change from MVS to AES.

Of course this only works for the offcial SNK games, not the piece of shit hacks.

That's awesome. I have the old MAS bios mod, but I'm sure it'll work the same with the 161.

These carts remind me of the NES multicarts, they had famicom shells but they worked on my NES no problem, I remember the first ones had dipswitches right on the cart, I never figured what those switches did, all I knew was that I could still play Combat and that it had my favorite Tetris.

Back on topic, I really gotta get me one this multicarts, it's just gonna make life easier.

BTW, has anybody here bought a 161 yet? I'm wondering if the menu has changed since the 150. If nobody knows, I'll make a video as soon as I get it and throw it up on youtube, for everyone's reference.

The one thing that sucks for me is I have the old debug bios, which is controlled with the 2nd player controller, but to change games on the multicart, you have to use the player 1 controller (right?).
