what purpose does the yellow ball with wings serve? it hovers around for a while then leaves.....

just got the game and its fucking insane..

It multiplies the score you get for any enemy you kill with normal or rapidfire shot while it's in effect. The actual multiplier depends on the color of the item.

Yeah, it's best to wait until it's flashing multi color, that's as high as it goes.

thats so fucked up!! i just saw this screen for the first time last night... didn't know you could pass a level without actually killing the boss.. took to long with whatever ship is the 'technical' variety..

Did you figure out how to bomb the charge shot? That's always a must to kill bosses fast. Just like the instructional video shows, press the B button after a charge shot has been released and you'll see your bullet/s turn yellow, it grants you more power and also more chain depending on the ship. Best of luck, ace.

I always wondered this too!! I never could tell what they did.

Ive got this on MVS, so im looking forward to being able to play it again soon :)

This is my favorite shmup on the Neo for just blasting away. Great music, great bosses, just a fund romp. A bit too easy, which places it below AF2 and Viewpoint for me, but a great visual feast.
