Well this week has come and gone... Where is the new trailer? When is the release date?

You actually thought they would follow through with one of their statements after all the delays and BS? That's funny.

I was thinking the same thing. They should keep these deadlines and schedules to themselves because I don't think they have ever followed through with any one of them yet. I just automatically add a couple of months to any dates they post.

Well I thought there would be a trailer at least since saying "next week" is damn specific. I mean, it's not like they said "soon". One has to assume the trailer would already be finished for them to make an announcement like that.

Then again this does fit into their pattern of:
a) Make some sort of promise (offer a specific date if possible)
b) Don't follow through with it
c) Don't be proactive about offering any sort of explanation
d) Don't communicate at all with your paying customers

It takes a lot to disappoint me, but NG: DEV is doing a pretty good job of doing it.

Trailer, please?

looks as if they have a few problems with their video editing software (final cut; premiere pro, or whatever they are using)...

from their fb-page:
"Sorry, takes longer than expected. Each try on the video takes several hours to render. Just one small problem and another 6 hours..."

Nevermind, I received an email from them on January 24th saying to watch out for the new Gun Lord trailer coming out in February. Whatever...

To shorten the wait for the trailer here is a CRT shot from an Egret 2, several people send us recently mails how it looks on proper arcade gear:

The screen shot is from a new bonus stage.

OMG, I just pray for any unit left waiting for me until I can pay for it! Limited runs aren't good at all...

NG:DEV.TEAM, question. Will there be any affordable games in the future for people who don't want to overpay?

That's an interesting way of putting it. If you don't want to 'overpay', as you put it, then don't. Buy yourself a Dreamcast and leave the overpaying to the Neo Geo guys.

BTW, I bought Fast Striker and think it's worth every penny. I just might buy a copy of Gun Lord as well.

Gunlord is available on the Dreamcast for 32 Euro = ~ $42 USD. This price is a for a brand-new game made from scratch for two extinct game systems that are both at least one gaming generation removed. I don't know how much more reasonable they can possibly make these games.

I was definitely not aware of the Dreamcast version. $42 is incredibly reasonable and definitely worth my money. But this brings up the question as to why the Neo Geo copies are more?

I mean look at Pier Solar. $50. Are they saying the carts they have are costing them tons of money that they need to charge $300+ for? Don't get me wrong I'd love to own an MVS copy by all means.
