He wasn't as active here as he was on other forums, but I know some of you guys knew him. I posted this over at s-c:

Those of you who have been apart of the forums for a while will know the name Robotron. He passed away earlier today. No word on the cause, but before the site went down, he told me about his battle with diabetes, which forced him to get his leg amputated.

Most of you know him as the guy who made the awesome sigs, and chances are, if you didn't know him from this site, you knew him from one of the many other sites he was a part of. The forums and net will not be the same without you, Kinn :(

That's terrible news. I remember him from his av. That's tragic. His profile says he was 46, dang... way too young.

This is sad news indeed. I knew him through the SRK forums, that why I'm surprised no onw posted anything on the Michigan forums about his passing. Then again, all the current posters are new blood anyways,

I used to chat it up with Kinn alot on the SRK Mi Thread, back when Mi fighting game community was alot more active and social. Kinn is the one guy from the Detroit crew I never got to meet in person (which I'm currently regretting now, as I've known about his illness). He was probably one of the only guys back then who would talk about his love for retro gaming, especially the NeoGeo/SNK related things on SRK. We used to chat and hype up alot of SNKP final AES releases and the console ports on the boards. The one thing that stands out about him if you're from Michigan, is his video game gathering called Friday Night Gaming, or FNG for sort. He held it from 2002-current. If you were from Michigan and knew him, you were welcomed to his house to play. I was invited, just never had the chance or transportation at the time. Believe it or not, I still have the majority of the PM's he used to send me over the years.

If anyone had a chance to chat with him on a forum, you could tell he was the most well mannered guys around. There was nothing to dislike about him. He will be missed.

Sometimes when people don't log in anymore, you wonder what happened to them.

Didn't know him, but tragic. I've known a couple of people who fought with diabetes and it sucks we haven't found a way to ensure people with it live a long healthy life.

RIP.
