quake live is going standalone soon. No more browser plugin. Also means Mac and Linux support goes away :(

Yeah I saw the shit storm on ESR. Ass, I'm on Mac nowadays and booted to linux to play QL because of the stupid built-in mouseaccel of OSX which makes all FPS unplayable except Source engine games.

I bet someone can get it to work, worst case just wait for id to release the source code like they always do.

That Q3 engine was the best thing that ever happened to fps's. Q3 and RTCW were gifts that kept on giving with mods and maps.

Any current FPS's let you throw up custom mods and maps for online play?

Hey Cannonball, this is what the aborted PMX should've been. Old CPMa devs on board.

The most promising of the new proper FPS projects, fuck Quake Live 2.0.

Is this the game that 2GD was working on for the past couple years? I'm pretty damn excited to say the least.

edit: That CeTuS movie above is a classic. One of my all time faves as well. If I can track down an old HD I may be able to find some of my defrag replays I had saved and make a short vid of them.

Nah, not 2GD and his ilk. Like I said, this is the Phoenix that will rise from the ashes of PMX, the standalone CPM.

For the once and future kings :D

This is the Genre, this is the Scene.
