Eve Online.

Anyone here play this? It's like a dollar on steam today and it looks soooooo beautiful. It's got solid reviews and has an active fanbase.

I may take the plunge...I really hate monthly fees and the thought of MMOs...but this seems cool enough.

Ultimately, I love the game, but it really requires a lot of focus to be good at anything. It's a totally different experience compared to other MMO's. It's brutal on newbies too. I love that the economy and territorial control (in null sec space) is all player run though.

It's a fantastic game, and I constantly think of starting up my account again, but I just don't know if I have the time and effort to invest in it.
