Depends on which mobo... but e.g. the fighting boards surely do.
There are some caveats which you can simply read about here:

in short, if you have a revision 1 you can 'jammify' it so it's fully ready for your gun, else you would have to run audio separately.

was thinking of getting one as they seem to be ridiculously cheap...lol...can get one with 3 games for around £35?
It would be my first Neo Geo purchase aside from my NGPC...which I bought to play Sonic Pocket Adventure on...though my supergun has Neo Geo Pads...
In all honesty I am more of a SEGA fan...but have played and enjoyed some great SNK games in the past...

My gun has an extra cable on it just to power the Hyper Revision 1 board. Like Grinwing, I always use an arcade power supply. Most tabletop supplies used with home made superguns don't give enough juice.
I also didn't jammafy it. I connected RCA jacks to the stereo output on the board.
