Terrible website, but this is all over the place:

http://goal.com/en-gb/news/2557/new...i-could-force-inter-president-massimo-moratti

The issues with this are that when Inter has to play against Pisa next season, the Serie A will be hit so hard. It's going to crush the entire league. I see that as temporary though. Inter gone will be great for football everywhere. It's a team only supported by war criminals and the mafia. Scum team of Italy.

New calls are Calciopoli evidence
Tuesday 13 April, 2010
Luciano Moggi’s lawyers have succeeded in ordering the transcripts of 75 new wiretapped phone calls in the Calciopoli trial.

Today’s preliminary hearing saw the judge accept their proposal to have the conversations transcribed and introduced as evidence.

These calls were recorded by police investigators during the original 2006 sporting inquest into Calciopoli, but never used as evidence.

Former Juventus director general Moggi’s lawyers are trying to show that he could not have been the puppet master of a network of influence over referees because many of the Serie A clubs had a similar rapport with the designators.

“These calls are relevant to the defence, as they show that meetings, dinners and conversations were had with everyone, including discussion of the referees to be assigned to games,” argued Maurilio Prioreschi.

The trial has been adjourned until April 20, when Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is set to be called as a witness.

“I am happy that people still support me,” Moggi told Radio Radio after leaving the court in Naples.

“I had no reason to smile after hearing the wiretapped call between Inter President Giacinto Facchetti and Paolo Bergamo, because these were things I already knew about.”

Meanwhile, Bergamo has reiterated that extensive and friendly talks with various directors and Presidents were commonplace and did not just involve Moggi.

“The rules do not ban dinners and a rapport with everyone. After all, the telephone was registered to the Federation,” said the former refereeing designator.

“We had a rapport with the clubs also to understand how everyone was feeling about the season.

“In 2004 I decided to resign. My wife and I invited the club representatives to dinner in Livorno, one by one, from Milan to Inter and Juve.

“Facchetti accepted the invite and I had dinner with him. There was no dinner with Adriano Galliani because at the time he was President and a candidate to the Lega Calcio position, so he felt it inopportune to take part in this meeting.”
