There is a fait bit of room in there, not a ton but I think one will fit, altough I don't know their dimensions (if you have them I can check and see)

I'll take inside pics this weekend.

Very nice work. I bet they're really solid. From looking in the enclosure, do you think there would be room for an LS-32 inside? It's honestly my favorite stick ever, and I'd like to use a similar enclosure and make my own wood sides. :)

EDIT: got pics of the insides? Please? :)

Some of you expressed an interest in seeing the inside of these sticks.

I've been extra lazy lately but I got around to opening them up for another photo shoot.

2nd picture is to illustrate how much space there is below the joystick in order to know what other sticks would fit in this enclosure. The stick in there right now is a Sanwa JLF. The JLF is installed with some 5-8mm (I don't remember exactly) spacers to keep it a bit below the metal panel to get the correct mounting height. The enclosure is 1.64" high in front, and 3.14" high in back, so moving the stick up a bit would allow a larger stick to be mounted.

Been working on these for months now, getting parts and getting access to tools to build them and they are FINALLY done.

Details

2 identical sticks
Metal enclosures with walnut sides
Sanwa JLF sticks
Sanwa 30mm snap in buttons
Toodles Cthulhu boards for PC/PS3
15pin port for Neo Geo/Supergun

They took forever, and cost too much, but oh so worth it.

Big thanks to all who answered all my questions about these while I was working on them.

Definitely the nicest looking Neo stick I've seen. You've inspired me to make my own. I'll be PMing you for the artwork file. Much appreciated

I like the enclosure the best... so much that I am going to use the noslope one to build a supergun! I think the walnut sides are amazingly clean and perfect for a nice finished look... thanks, now I have a new project to do... geez!

I'll echo the others.... sweet work Finch. Considering you're practically in my back yard, I'd love to get my grubby hands on one of them. Don't worry, I'm not a stalker. :lolz:

Great Job!

I was planning on making one myself a few months back and eventually just caved and bought a Madcatz TE.

Did you paint the enclosure black or did it come that way? The product you linked to seems to indicate a grey colored top?

I had to paint them. I wish they came powder coated black.

I figure if the black paint doesn't hold up I'll take them apart, get them sand blasted and powder coated.
