They were just showing some footage of him on TV and damn I forgot how fucking cool moonwalking looked.

As creepy as he was he was equally as awesome.

I can't believe this, he was only 50! The man had his problems recently, but he was a fucking legend.

I saw him with the Jackson Five back in '81 (or around there) when I was only 5 years old. I still have the souvenir button.

This is devastating.

Big fan of MJ's work in the 80's and early 90's. Too bummed to do anything at the moment but read our posts in this thread and some other forums I trek to about MJ's death.

NBC's running with that he's passed. This is terrible. He had to be the number one person I wanted to see preform live. I used to watch his old concert videos as a kid and was mesmerized by him.

He had sold out his concerts planned for next month within 4 hours. Promoters pushed more shows on him than he originally intended.

Crazy, this hit me out of nowhere.

I was hoping he was going to try to restore his old iconic image with the new comeback tours. I guess we'll never get to see it now...
