Hello guys,

I have visited teh forums in the past but until a few months ago I was able to get an MVS working on an arcade cabinet. Here are some pics:

I have two MVS 1F systems, one of which I plan to use in another (future) cabinet or maybe consolize it. A few MVS carts and one AES cart that I've had for quite some time (Last Blade 2).

I am having some graphic problems with my second MVS using the same carts, as described in this post, I believe they must be solvable.. in case they aren't and I am out of luck I'll probably get yet another MVS system. Thansk for reading!

By looking at the pics in the thread that you highlighted, (assuming your 1-slot is suffering the same type of symptoms) I would like to say that the carts and slot need a good cleaning. If your board is projecting those vertical lines within the images and text this is most likely the case. Some times you may need to adjust very very slightly the cart in the slot (contact issue) but do this carefully, and hopefully this is avoided by a good ol' cleaning.

The Hard MVS Website is teh go-to guide for various things mvs related:

Congrats on your cab, but within some time we'll get you to install a different button lay-out more hand friendly, for sure! lol, on a side note what type of monitor are you using?

Almost forgot to mention, PM Channelmaniac about the sound issue. (sounds like a audio cap kit is in order) RJ is the man and will surely point you in the right direction on repairs and such.

Thanks a lot for all the advice, I will certainly do as suggested =)

I was thinking about the button layout as well... I am still unsure about what to do with it.

The monitor is what I got with the Cab, I don't know how to figure what it is. It is a 21" one though, and the cabinet was a generic one built here in Mexico, so I don't expect it to be anything special. It looks alright to me though I had to play for quite a bit of time with geometry and several of the other settings to get an acceptable image.
