As for the PSX and PS2, I cannot find any definitive information on Vertical Shooters. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I assume by Tate Mode you're refering to Tate screen orientation (vertical screen, 3:4 aspect ratio) and not Tate scrolling (games that simply scroll vertically). If so, your list needs to be trimmed.

Guardian Force for Saturn and ST-V is a horizontal game. That one should be taken off the list.

Both Triggerheart and Ikaruga, like their DC counterparts, offer a TATE mode in the X360 (XBLA) versions.

Ultimate Shooting Collection (Wii) offers tate on Radigry and Karous. A special code needs to be input in order to rotate the controls, though.

IIRC, Chaos Field was designed to run vertical on a 4:3 display...

Lately, I've been spoiling myself with Tate since I found a TV that can handle being on it's side without changing colors. Once you go tate you just can't go back to those black borders...
