That's a tough one. Probably a toss up between Blazing Star and Strikers with honorable mention to Sonic Wings 3.

I would take Strikers 1945 Plus. Great challenge, outstanding gfx. I don't prefer bullet hell, but this is the best shmup I've played on Neo.

I'm going with Pulstar. Every aspect of it is quality. Sure, it's derivative of R-Type, but I've always thought it "out-R-types" R-type.

Last Resort, Viewpoint, and Blazing Star are some runnerups

but Pulstar takes the cake.

Sounds good guys. I'm a huge shmup fan and need a good one on my Neo. Didn't know if I should just grab Last Resort (since it's the most affordable?) or save my clams for a Zed Blade Conversion or one of the "___stars".

Gave me some other good ideas too. Thanks!

Pulstar, hands down. Last Resort then Sonic Wings 2.

Blazing Star was meh.

TSS is a lot of fun. It's a toss up for me between that and strikers 1945 plus.

Blazing Star currently. I haven't put that much time in to Last Resort or Pulstar tbh. I really enjoy TSS but it's hard finding someone to play again who's actually interested in learning the game so I get a decent challenge. Not that I'm amazingly good or anything.

No love for Last Hope? :tickled:

I enjoy playing Last Resort and Andro Dunos…

I have not played too much of Blazing Star or Pulstar so I am not able to rate them proper…

I am never play Twinkle Star Sprites on Neo Geo… I play it on Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, and the sequel on the PlayStation 2. Very great game but is best play with 2 players…
