Yes, I will do my best. I have a feeling that it won't be easy to play it, since I am going to have to do some work to set up a driving type controller.

That being said, from the photo, it appears to have a JAMMA connector (unlike Beast Busters Second Nightmare, which does not). So I should be able to hook it up to my supergun or one of my cabs to test it.

PS. How do I post a video?

well it has been awhile since I tried but the road edge board has a extra set of inputs for the steering wheel and such. If I recall when I hooked up the Jamma i still could not get it to boot up, I think it sent out a detection to verify everything else was plugged in, but it has been awhile since I played with mine so I could be wrong.

I wrote a review of the game way back in the day after putting a bunch of money in it at an arcade. Not sure how helpful or meaningful it is now though.

I own the game already, but not the mobo (hard to find).
So I can't play it. (Road's Edge needs it own driving mobo).

At least I know who has the mobo (Bibliophile),
if he wants to sell it later on

I emailed the seller when he originally listed it on eBay,
and he said he ripped it out of a cab and it was sitting on a shelf.
He wouldn't tell me if it worked or not, just that it was sold-as-is.
If it didn't work, then he wouldn't give me my money back.

Strange, because I think he was also selling a full-working cab
of Road's Edge... so maybe the ripped out mobo was really dead
and not working 100%.

Bibliophile, let me know if your Road's Edge works 100%!!

Spotted in an Arcade
The local arcade in Jamaica (around Montego Bay)
has two Hyper 64 Roads Edge machines linked up,
along with a Sengoku 3, 1-slot cab.

They both were in perfect shape!!

I plugged it up to my supergun when I got it, but it said some error message about I/O not detected. I believe one has to have some controls hooked up for it to work, which I didn't at the time. When I have some free time, I am going to undertake NeoTurfMasta's project of hooking up a PS steering wheel and pedal to it, and see what happens.

Sorry, but it is not for sale right now.

I have bought the 3 fighters and for me imo the fatal fury one plays and looks the best, samS is 2nd and that buraki or whatever it's called is a weak 3rd

False. Plus you are missing SS64 Warrior's Rage...4 fighters, not 3

Buriki is GOD on the H64

Oh right i didint include the 2nd rage game as i thought one was english and one was jpn text, as for buriki imo it was well shite.

Did you understand the mechanics of the game? Are you just not interested in a game based on grappling? The control system is simple to learn, difficult to master and is extremely sophisticated/elegant. The fighting system is extremely deep as well.

I think there is a difference between "not my cup of tea" and a "shite game". The game is clearly not shitty by any stretch. Probably just not your style.

Buriki is THE REASON to own a H64 in my opinion.
