I've seen that method done before to quickly open the gate... Didn't quite work out for me.. lol.

Not all game types are for everyone, and there's no shame in that. A friend of mine owns people in Madden, and similar EA sports games. But I gave him Uncharted, and he was running around in a circle, pushing against unmovable walls, and fighting enemies by randomly running at them headfirst randomly spraying the screen with fire.
Viewpoint is an adjustment for any shmupper because of the unusual perspective. I just love the music and the intensity of the boss fights.

Well, I finally got around to trying this out. Still waiting on my cd version to get here, but since it is on the multicart I figured what the hell. Between myself and all the guys here that I've converted to neo gaming, thus far we are ALL stuck at the #$!@%#Q%!%# crab boss at the end of level 2! Man what a rush, this game is so hard but badass at the same time...I love it

Next time we get together for a round of neo playing I will make sure to do some recording. Thus far the sessions have been pretty amusing with a bunch of soldiers in a little room cursing the hell out of the even more little spaceship onscreen that just...will...not...stay...alive...

Good thing I am not actually spending real quarters
Sigh. Going to be a lot of continuing in my future. Thank goodness for 3.1 unibios so I can practice without being stuck having to worry about it. I will get it right one day. Hopefully.

Neogeo is awesome... the fact that you can repeat one level without starting from the beginning is clearly intended to help gamers mastering the game....kinda "made from players to players"
Unfortunately on many (most?) games, power-up combination influences the tactics, but it is undoubtedly a huge help anyway .

I must admit Viewpoint is one tough cookie but does have that one more try appeal to it and the soundtrack is pretty decent too, especially the boss music.
