I hate the last form of that damn stage 4 boss. The first three are nothing for me, but the final one is a bitch. :mad:

Crab aint that hard...I get smoked in Level 4.
This game is such a bitch, but so fucking good.
I miss my homecart...need the MVS kit.

Unfortunately for me, stage 3 is the best I've been able to do.

The game is too hard. Lose your powerups and your bombs (especially for the boss battles) and you can pretty much count on using up one of your continues and replaying the stage.

Quality game, one of my favorites! Had it for about 2-3 weeks now?
I struggled with the crab for a day or two myself?
But I can kick its arse big style now! <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" />

The Area 4 boss tho... <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> 3rd version.. <img src="graemlins/blowtop.gif" border="0" alt="[Blow Top]" /> Has me proper fucked! :D
Any help / advice appreciated (Area 4 boss!), for easy Crab destruction just ask! ;)

the crab is a piece of piss

stage 3 is where the game starts becoming a little difficult

but yeah,the skull boss of level 4 is a damn bastard

hardest boss,IMO

stage 5 is quite easy

and same goes for the last level

even the final guardian aint THAT complicated once you know what to do

but the skull...

the worst bit is that when you die,
you re-start BEFORE the "maze" section

and you feel like weeping openly...

you may weep openly when you die, but when you get past somewhere you couldn't before on this game, its euphoria.

I beat "that crab" on my 2132243rd try, surrounded by my friends who'd been watching my crusade, it all went slow motion and I thrust my hand in the air etc. <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />

Hey, if I stick the viewpoint cd in my normal cd player, will i be able to play the tunes?

BTW, I too, am stuck on level three. Me nor any of my friends can beat that bloody crab. I even used three straight specials on it and it didn't die!!! :mad:

Area 3 - Stupidly Hard <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />
Area 4 - Totally lunatic, Double Hard <img src="graemlins/blowtop.gif" border="0" alt="[Blow Top]" /> <img src="graemlins/blowtop.gif" border="0" alt="[Blow Top]" />

I love Viewpoint! Haven't played it for a while though... The fish thing at the end of Stage 3... Arrrraghh! I've come so close so many times to beating it... but it ownz me :(

It's fantastic when you finally defeat a boss or get through a tough section, totally brilliant :D

Despite it's hardness I've not once lost my temper with it, but yeah the feeling of total success when you overcome something you've been stuck on...

@ who ever asked earlier - there is a French guy who can complete Viewpoint on 1 life from start to finish. He even made a video of it to prove it could be done. Props to that man, I tell ya...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the bulles come out in an angle suck that if you move to the weak side it'll be a lot easier to survive. Just make sure you remember to return to the center before he shoots his pinchers.

This game has made me want to get a Debug BIOS more than anything else...Does anyone know what cheats you can do with one? Can't you play 2 player? Viewpoint has potential but is so hard that is just isn't fun to me.

So first hello, I'm S-L, you can find me on the french board Neogeofans.com , if i'm posting here it's because I want to share with you my hapiness about my score on this game (which is my all time favorite game)

I archived a 3.300.750 points tonite in MVS mode on AES jap :)
