Lookin to find good PS1 shooters

I've got a mini PS1 that I thought I'd pull out of storage. I'm getting a mod chip so it will be region free, I just need to find some good games for it. What are some shooters everyone likes? I'm generally just looking for games that don't suck.

The one I like the most...and I still have it from the launch period of the PSX...

RAIDEN PROJECT!!!

Contains 1 and 2 and the remix music is great. Raiden 2 still withstands the test of time :)

Shienryu and Sokyugunrentai were both rereleased as part of the same series a few years ago - you oughtta be able to pick them up for cheap.

Donpachi also got a rerelease, and is likewise inexpensive.

Buka Kelips is awesome, but rare and pricy.

I have Ray storm and Ray crisis.... I will say that the graphics didn't hold up very well...

The soundtrack in Ray Storm is amazing though - it sounds like Yellow Magic Orchestra.

Taito shooters have great soundtracks. The 3D-sprite Darius on PS1 also has kickass music.

Ray Storm may look a bit patchy but is total awesome and the music oh my!

Raiden Project too, its a must.

What are the differences between 2 and DX?
