how are the fatalities triggered in LB2:FE?

i have the jap import coming, and was wondering how you execute the fatalities. do they just happen or do you have to finish your opponent in a certain way? i know they arent Mortal Kombat style (thank god) cheers

I think when you deliver the final blow to kill the opponent, they must fall forward to the ground, not backword, i.e. face first to the ground.

You need a blade to perform that. Also only certain specials and slashes do the trick.

If you use a DM with a blade weilding character to finish off the opponent, and your not playing in English (with cruel fight turned off as is he default on English), you should be getting the fatality.
