I'm currently playing Blast Wind for Saturn. While it's a quite easy shmup, it's something I keep returning back to.

Finally rotated my monitor last night so that I could try Dodonpachi II: Bee Storm.

I actually think this is a damn fine game, Would probably be a lot more popular if it wasn't associated with DDP.

Armed Police Batrider, Life Force (US), and DonPachi again on the cabs. As for the PSP, Super Star Soldier (PCE), Soldier Blade and Shienryu have accompanied me on recent trips. Salamander Portable is awesome on the go.

I played through Platypus on the PSP recently. It is definitely. . .a piece of software. With claymation graphics.

1cc'd Blast Wind yesterday and it was damn satisfying! Trying to hunt down Hyper Duel to quell my Techno Soft addiction.

Been pluggin away at Espgaluda 2 on the vert cab. Fuck this game is addicting and aggrivating all at the same time. You have to be perfect with your phase shifts to get points.

Interestingly enough, it's still the "New Version".

Code Zero on the X68k. A Raiden clone by Enix. Not the best shooter, but the music is some of the best FM on the system.

A few reasons.

Cave's first Garegga/Yagawa styled game, requiring constant bombing and dying to progress.
Lousy PS2 port which removed the slowdown and had a slightly blurry filter that made many of the spinning and animated bullets nauseating. When likable and more accurate ports on the PS2 were available at a fraction of the cost, it's somewhat understandable that the criticism of Ibara spread.

Has nothing to do w/ the tv game; however, this pic made me think the panda was in the real-life Fantasy Zone.
