little confusing but not a bad game

Also considered one of the most straight forward and greatest shmups of all time. :lolz:

Played Soukyugurentai on STV today. I had this on the saturn and rember liking it more than I do now. =-/

Has a similar mechanic to Galactic Attack with the lock on.

Haha. My bad. I got confused. Especially since I've never seen the hidden characters on dimahoo. Are you playing batrider from the pcb?

Soukyugurenai / Terra Diver is one of my favorite Saturn shooters. Love the music in that game.

I spent quality time with Fast Striker today. I agree with the common criticism that the game is short and the backgrounds are repetitive, but the game itself seems very well designed. The small hit box on your ship and complex but fair bullet patterns make the game very enjoyable for me.

I've been playing gleylancer on the mega drive. Gorgeous game. It's a shame it never got a U.S. Release because I would have loved it back then.

Fired up some Macross 2036 and Zero Wing on PC Engine CD. Amazing how good the Redbook audio is on most PC Engine CD games. The tractor beam feature on your ship in Zero Wing is pretty cool - fun to snatch an enemy out of the air and use him to shield yourself from his buddies. Macross is highly recommended for any PC Engine fan - it's one of the showpiece games for the system.

Cleared Deathsmiles for the first time in a year and a half. Ass score with 77m. Gonna get my rusty ass skillz back up to par.

I must hate my life because I've been playing Radiant Silvergun again, this time off the STV multicart. Managed to get enough chains down to get 3 million by the stage select. Taking the stage 2 route for now, best run so far ended at Mr Vector boss.

Yes, ver.B

These were just survival runs mostly, no milking or score tricks. I will go for a C-million next.
