yup. you can blow up the world trade center in aero fighters 1 as well. i think you can in 3 as well, although I haven't really played that one much. Aero Fighters 2 has teh best characters of any shooter i can think of.

There was always something odd to me about these shooters...i never really liked them...& thought they were a little bland & uninspiring...cheesy etc.
Playing this years ago on release...never impressed me...never thought it was funny or fun to decimate marked areas from around the world..ie the WTC..bad taste.
& as for bombing a Fun theme park with ferris wheel!? masochistic.. :angry:

Wow, considering Aero Fighters 2 and the Sam Sho series got me into the Neo. The first 2 games I wanted were Aero Fighters 2 and Samurai Shodown 4. I still love the way it plays, even today, amoung the current crop of Cave shooters. It has aged well IMO.

Aero Fighters (the series in general) is just a poor man's Psikyo.
Very average, yeah, but at least you could play as a dolphin. That counts for something.

I am a huge schmups fan, and i ended up getting rid of aerofighters 2 because it was so boring. the game is full of unispired bosses, guns, levels, everything, and that stupid monkey boss frustrates the shit out of me.
