Looked around online but nothing makes sense. Anyone want to tell me how to fix this shit?

I can't unzip most files, and it's pissing me off

I was hoping to not have to do that, but that will be my last resort if I can't fix it :(

Never had a problem with Stuffit before, weird.

Thats whart I'm screaming...

Is the program itself not working?

Or is it a specific file that gives your sexy ass the error?

It's some .rar files :spock:

Fucking strange I tell you. Some unpack, some don't...

Apparently other people have had problems with this, but I can't find a solid answer online.

If I end up deleting it, I hope I can find a free dl of it. I suppose I could dig out my system disc, but that sounds like a shit option too...

Fuck, I hate computers.

So it ONLY happens with SOME .rar files?

If so, then it might be because Stuffit has problems decompressing .rar files that are password protected. I can't remember if it affected Stuffit for Windows and OSX, or just one but not the other. I use a different app to decompress such .rar files, but I can't remember which and am unable to check it right now...

Please let me know what it is when you get a chance to check :)

FYI, stuffit used to be the premiere compression program on the mac. ".sit" compression was superior to anything on the market....

used to, and was

alladin has let the program go to shit, and i would recommend most mac users to jump ship and familiarize with newer programs. It truly was phenomenal in it's prime, but it's a mere shadow now....
