Steve:
They say your life can be measured by how many folks you have touched. I guess Steve has had a pretty nice life.

I do believe everything happens for a reason, and whatever reason(s) it may be, I'm sure the Lord had a good one for it.

Remember what Hamlet said? Use the human skull as inspiration. Because in the end, one way or another, this is all we will become -- a human skull. And so, seize the day. Tomorrow is not for sure. Will you make an effort to make this world better while you're here, or will you just kinda go with the flow?

Steve -- Rest In Peace.
Wherever you are, I hope you can be at peace (eventually, at least). God bless your soul.

:(
yes... you said it perfectly.

I'm speechless at this moment....
SNK4EVER........Steve

I still remember we used to have the same avatar and he asked me gentlely to use another one by not to confuse other members.

I still remember he bought my LB AES

I still remember he has asked me a lot of questions (last one was in last week).

RIP, my friend. crying

Remember him when he was still alive and go ahead. That's what he could be imagine... I don't believe he wouldn't wanted to cause a trauma in all of us. So remember him when he was still alive and try to forget this sad event (though it's a tough one to swallow)

He was a good human being so I bet he deserves an eternal life in heaven, playing snk vs capcom, warlocks of the fates, no LOSJ in sight, no work and best of all no NGF.

I know a pair who will burn in the fires of hell instead very_ang

I personally didn't know Steve that well but from what I've read he was a hell of a guy. And judgeing from this post wether he knew it or not Steve had many friends.

We shall all miss Steve. Even though it will hapen to us all eventually it is a shame that anyone dies; Life is somthing that is trully prescious.

My thoughts go out to his parents in there time of mourning. While their loss will never be replaced they should know that there son was a great guy and that the many friends he had will miss him dearly!

Good bye Stephen my you rest in peace.

God, I have just read about about this terrible tragedy, and read all the last posts about it. Whenever someone dies at a young age, I am deeply affected with sorrow.

I cannot say I knew Steve, but from what all you other members have said about him, I'm sure he was a great person to know with a kind heart.

It is truly sad when a person is killed before they have had a chance to live their life.

My best wishes go out to his folks, and Steve, wherever you are, I hope you find peace.

One more thing I want to say about Steve.

I don't know whether he liked the game or not, but I think a pretty good image of him could come from the game, "Outrun."

Hopefully he's somewhere right now, driving around in a Ferrari Testarossa or car of his choice, with a female companion by his side. And together they will be zooming down Coconut Beach on a picture perfect Sunday afternoon, followed by a cruise down Cloudy Mountain into the starry night of the Old Capitol, concluded by a longlasting ride down beautiful ole Lakeside... where he and his female companion will forever ride off into the sunset.

Some say Outrun is what video gaming is all about. In some circles, it is. And I can only imagine what it'd be like in real life if we could be like the carefree guy in Outrun for just one day -- driving our female companion along, state to state, coast to coast. It sure as hell would be peaceful, exciting, and never a dull moment.

Hopefully, Steve is somewhere taking place in that kind of bliss.

i can't even play super sidekicks 2 now. this just puts life all into perspective for me. i mean if i were to go how would anyone here even know? i feel i've made several friends here, but i never met anyone from here (save for lost basura) and this whole experience is just sort of dissheveleing for me. i may sound selfish but it's just wracking me. i just can't put it out of my mind. someone will have to post the obituary article when it comes out to provide some closure for all of us.

Steve?!80-02...

Death is as real as life.

Being a clone of steve, i too loved transformers and trading quote from films with him on PM...but, to be honest, im not in shock, yet.

You see, im 21. A few months younger than he. I love my VW, he even posted me when I started a forum on VW Golfs, we laughed. But, you see, im 21. We shared the same interests, SNK4EVER was the name in my PM box. He died so fast, but you see, IM 21!

The times together, are only remembered when the time is apart. I cant start to remember because, hes JUST become apart. He was so young. Id like information on the faults of the accident....As a neo geo tribute I have an idea. I will start a card, and have it sent off. To someone on the forums in the UK perhaps, like me. If you want to sign the card, PM your address to my account, I will send it to the first person who mails me there, maybe after 20 or so we can have it sent to his family? I shall get a card, and mail it off to the first person then, send it off around the world....anyone have his home address?

Its so tragic, I feel for his family so much, because im in the same shoes. I look around, and if I didnt come home one night from driving in my car, I wouldnt be there to thank my mom for cleaning my room.Im 21, nearly 22 too.Reality.

Regards,

To the family online, and off.

I really am struggling to take this all in. If anything it shows you how fragile life is. I have a bloody driving lesson as well tomorrow, this will be in my mind all along... :(

again, RIP Steve. :( it is a sad day for the Neo community.

While I haven't posted much, I have read a lot.
I always liked reading his posts. I could tell he had a true love for the neo and gaming.

Reading through all of the posts in this thread I see nothing but admiration for Steve. It pains me to know that I will never get to know him like some of the members here have.

I hope he's in a better place with a nice 4 slot and a bottomless cup of quarters.
Rest in Peace.

wow. just... wow. I had never talked to him personally, but he always came across in his posts as a great guy.

It is truly disheartening to see a fellow Neo-Geo fan leave this world at such a young age. crying oh_no
