i never got to see it (as I was at the pub) but I'm glad they won. Funnily enough, my girlfriend interviewed them for Terrorizer Magazine in Finland about two years ago (mindless trivia, always cool).

I am so glad they won!!! :buttrock:

Russia's song was terrible, but Lithuania's entry sucked massively!!!

Very cool ! :buttrock:

I think the "usual" Eurovison-watchers are quite pissed now.

LOL, those guys are Judas Priest and Alice Cooper all over again :D

I hope they call them to the Ozzfest :chimp:

You guys, browse the YouTube and check for the brazilian band "Massacration" - a parody of melodic metal that is becoming a hit aroud here - and they are 10x better than the average melodic metal bands, anyway

I was well chuffed they won

hopefully they take this as hint that most people are fed with with sugary syrupy ballads and pop songs.

Wish i bet on them heard they had odds of 25-1

Took their album and it's quite good. Some good ole Hard Rock. I was not surprised they won because quite franckly, their song is really well made music-wise. Good songs deserve to win obviously.

I disagree with the title of this thread sorry Raz.
Theve been paying the rock and roll hallejuih song on euro music channels.
I say let this type of music die with 1987...dunno

Haha, I don't necessarily agree with this. I find their hard rock quite actual IMO. Big riffs, mid tempo goodness, it's all good in my books.
