I watched this guy all morning in Torino... he sings and participates in interviews with his eyes shut...

Its strange.

Did you know he was blind? That may explain why he keeps his eyes closed.

I'm so sorry...

I honestly didn't know...

He has an amazing voice - and might explain why Stevie Wonder is on his album...

rofl.

and just so that you don't feel all that bad about it ...

my tastless, stupid pos aunt played Bocelli's 'time to say goodbye' at my uncle's (my dad's little bro's) funeral, after he hung himself at age 33. that was back in early 1997 and we still change the channel as soon as Bocelli is on.

He has a great voice, but much like Josh Grobin and Michael Buble, I don't care for what he is singing. It's sort of a pseudo-opera style.

It's alright. It wasn't meant as sarcasm or anything. His eyes open (I have seen them open somewhere) is really freaky.
