How to download the emulaters ( so i can play xbox 1 games on 360)

I have xbox live ( gamertag- abdul12288) and I want to play some of my xbox 1 games on my 360.

a screen come up that says i need to get an update.

where do i get this update from?

Do you have a harddrive? You can only play Xbox1 games if you have a harddrive. You should have been prompted with the update the instant you went online with your 360.

What game are you trying to play? Only 200 out of, I don't know...500-600 total games, work right now. Maybe the game you're trying to play isn't supported yet?

madden 06, Burnout revenge, Mvp baseball 2005. and Halo 2

I have teh Deluxe model, but I never got offered any updates.

Pop in any legit XBox game and pick Play Game from the 360 Dashboard.

It will then sense its a regular XBox game and prompt you to allow it to download an update from Live. Thats when it downloads the emulation updates.

Then if its a supported game, it will play.

why cant the xbox games play on the xbox 360 consle without downloading the update patch online? i c no need for microsoft to do that.
