I need to get a new router. My Netgear router is utter shit and isn't even listed. Looking at the compatibility list it seems as if Netgear is crap across the board. Buying a Linksys tomorrow.

My netgear router works just fine, besides the trouble it gave me when I wanted to log into it to find the wep key, my router seems to work fine.

Is the Star Road track from the SNES Mario Kart in this game? Because that (along with the bowsers castle tracks) is probably the sweetest track in the whole damned snes game.

MKDS online is blast. Damn this is fun. Even just 1 on 1 is very compelling.

I'll be getting my router today. In the meantime I'm going through some of the other stuff.

Please try to keep normal game discussion to the other Mario Kart thread so this one is more concise.

I just got back from Circuit City with a new D-Link G54 router. Make sure if you get the DI-524 that it's Version C1, NOT any of the A versions.

Connected in 5 seconds no problems.

I'm curious, with everyone that has been playing online. When you search for people say on the Worldwide tab, how long does it typically take you to find other players? It seems it takes forever to find anyone to play. Sometimes it ends up taking a few minutes and then disconnects me. Has anybody experienced this issue?
