[EDITOR'S NOTE: The chat room was a feature of NG.com from the beginning, and developed a number of problems. Originally an IRC chat room, the NG.com chat room actually developed in a virulently anti-NG.com area, the result of miscommunication and internet mentalities. The result was the current chat room, Op free and a less likely to be a haven for malcontents(a big "?").]

Its pretty obvious.
That chat got closed due to complaints almost all the time.

The IRC based chat room is experiencing serious complications. Room #neo-geo currently belongs to General_Hanzo (non forum member) & GamersAbyss. Neither of these two individuals have any official affiliation with Neo-Geo.com whatsoever. Our chat will be salvaged, or another will be opened soon.

Hahaha, I know it was going to happen some day, that's what people collected because ignored the problems in the chat room, I cant believe this, now the room Belongs to Hanzo and GamerAbyss LOL !!! <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

BonusKun has always been the founder of #neo-geo, and I understand it he has the respect of most of the members on this forum.

Hanzo and GamerAbyss are ops that BonusKun himself chose. I learn to trust his judgement, after all, he runs the entire IRC network with me. As far as I can see, I haven't heard of any complaints against Hanzo, and GamerAbyss, although I had my differences with him, they are now resolved and I have no problem with him either, and all 3 are hardcore neo geo gamers. I don't know what more could you ask for.

hehehe, then your just as blind as Bonuskun, no offense. But I could show you 10-15 members off the top of my head that Gamersabyss and his crew have banned and kicked for no reason, hell they even banned Shawn.

Their assholes, and if you two can't see it your really niave. Sorry but it's true.

As an addendum to my original post

Yes, I just heard what GA did to Shawn, and he was removed as an op by Hanzo at Shawn's request.

In light of this, it seems the case is closed.

I have only been on the forums a couple of months and have found a lot of people respect bonuskun and he even helped me out with samuraiX to get my IRC to work and I like gamersabyss too,I have had no probs with them although I know others have,I always go into that room as well as my own but I always say hi <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I dont understand,the chatroom link is still at the left on my screen as I just got there via it?

It could be because it's still cached in your computer. Hold SHIFT and press RELOAD(REFRESH) that tells the browser to update it from the server directly..it may change it. If it doesn't...*shrug* don't worry about it.

If this gets wiped or whatever i suggest you
download Mirc from www.mirc.com (the latest is 5.91!) install it and click on add in the top right corner,youll get 4 boxes to fill in:
description: chatsolutions:randomserver
irc server: irc.chat-solutions.org
port:7000
group: chatsolutions
add then just type /join #neo-geo or any other room on that server like #videogamers ect.
While the room still exists on the server
youll be able to join using the above.
