SNK announces SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters DS

At TGS, SNK announced that they intend to revive one of those games for the Nintendo DS next year; SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighters Clash. Currently there is no information available on the title other than its existence. GAF will update as soon as the first information or screenshots become available.

Interesting. How many of you would have rather seen it just a GBA game?

Funny enough, it probably could do well as a GBA game. It doesn't really affect me, any; but I wonder if the decision to go DS was attributed to the rather succesful Yugioh design? From what I hear, the touchscreen supposedly made Yugioh control better than any video CCG to date. It also seems like they are going to redo the entire game (except for the gameplay system), due to this. Maybe a different story with different lead characters, etc. Maybe they'll go back to the intentional Capcom and SNK themed locations of CFC1 instead of CFC2's doujin-looking school grounds locations.
