That's called a red parry. In Third Strike universal guard has been taken out, so that means if you blocked Ryu's Shinkuu Hadouken (or any multiple hitting move) in the previous SF games, you could just block the initial hit, and then it would block the rest for you (so you could stop holding to block). In Third Strike if you let go of block and there's still more hits left to go you'll be hit. However, if you're blocking you can parry the rest of the hits. What happens is when you're blocking you're put in a short block stun and you time the parry for the very next hit which will be red. Then you can parry the consecutive hits normally.

Heh, yeah the defeat with Sean stung me pretty bad, I was :oh_no:

for a couple of hours or so. :kekeke:

I like Q, but I have lots of trouble fighting shotos with him, and of course there are tons of shoto players on live. I have seen some really good Q players though, apparently it's all about the mind games with him.
