I usually leave it on Radio FG all day at work and this song has been playing a lot lately. It's stuck in my head... o_O

Good grimy music to wash away the summer sun: The Bug - Angels & Devils. Seriously good mix of dub, grime, rap, electronic-trash. Seriously good.

Tricky's new album, Adrian Thaws is less of a return to form, and more a glimpse at the past while plunging headfirst into the current. It's like Pre-Millennium Tension level of gruff with moments of Nearly God. It's a good Tricky album, and a lot more scatter-shot than False Idols, which felt a little too one-note to me for a Tricky album. Really digging this latest one.

FaltyDL - Hardcourage. I completely slept on this album until now.

The new Death From Above 1979 album, The Physical World. It's fucking awesome, and gets better with each listen.

I have also been appreciating the new Tricky and DFA 1979 albums. I'll add that I enjoyed the new Simian Mobile Disco album 'Whorl,' and thought the latest from Interpol 'El Pintor,' was pretty bad.

Respect to the morose, nostalgic artists that bring that wave of memory with their music...

Been listening to World on Fire by Slash and Myles Kennedy. Awesome album and a ton of fun to listen to on a run
