Accessing the HNG 64 Rev. 2 configuration screen

I just received a HNG 64 Rev2 and everything including sound is working so far in my supergun. I have the Rev2 manual, in Japanese, and an English Samurai 64 one. From this last one, and the Rev1 posted by Chris, I understand the configuration screen is accessed by pressing the Test switch. I don't have it wired, but I can just short pin 15 (TEST) with any ground to do the same effect.
Well, I've tried pressing it at all possible times (including having the button "pressed" while powering up) and the configuration screen never appears, the game just boots normally after the hardware test.

I understand the bank of 4 DIP switches don't do shit, and the other two MVS/JAMMA switches don't seem to do any difference in my set-up.

OK, I just figured it out. Since I had the NG64 in MVS mode (through the hardip), the pin-out is the MVS one which is a bit different than the JAMMA, and the test swicsh is located in pin M. Shorting it I got configuration mode.
