No love for the original arcade R-type? I played the shit out of that as a kid, and it will always have a special place in my heart.(R-type final was great too, though).

Don't have time to make up a top 10 right now, but R-type Delta is probably my favorite shooter....the special attacks like "Nuclear Catastrophe" are freakin' awesome.
