'94 and '95 were the only games in the series where you could do aerial fireballs with Ryo (and fireballs actually cross the whole screen, unlike in '96). The non-boss enemies are tougher in '95 than in '94.'96 is my fave but '95 has more kick ass style to it. That said overall fun has gotta be '98 or '99.

I once thought that 98 would forever be "the best" but I am starting to think the newer ones are becoming more popular and have the edge over 98.
