First off, thanks to everyone for their patience.

Over a year ago I made a commitment in memory of Clint to finish a project that he started. To catalog all the MVS labels and be able to lookup any cart by US or Japanese label.

I proposed the project and got fantastic results - people fired up their scanners and sent in a ton of labels. Much appreciated, we could not have done this without a big effort by the community.

Thanks goes to:

and special thanks to RevQuixo, who not only sent in a big chunk of the scans, but also took the time to help me catalog everything.

I appoligize if I left anyone out.

That being said, there are probably more than a few errors on this list. If you find an error, *please post it here* that way I can keep track of them.

Also, if you have a scan that is missing or a better label than one that is shown, please contribute.

Lastly - so far I have not differentiated between scans that I don't have, and labels that don't exist. Post those here too.

Thanks again everybody - and now that the system is in place let's see if we can fill in all the holes.

The "Browse by" lists are very large, so be patient.

I looked for the original idea post, but can't find it. If you can dig it up, please post it so I can be completely ashamed of how long this has taken me.

Shave the love.

Good point -

Please do check the "Needed" lists for both US and Japanese. If you have a cart and a way to scan it, please send it in to me and I'll add it in.

That's really slick guys. I'm sure Jigen would've been stoked to see it.

Looks great. I'm glad to see this up and running, it will be incredibly useful.

A small error to report. The japanese flip shot label is upside down.

Thank very much a great database, only thing I noticed on my first flip through is that Power Spikes II I'm pretty sure is considered a Japanese only kit even though the label is in english.

Really though great work

And here is your original thread

Just over a year for a large task I'd say that's goo :)

I remember your earlier beta of this, this loads even faster and it's great.

I have a Big Tournament Golf cart**, I'd scan it but I don't have a scanner :(. Maybe I can borrow one sometime.

I have a SVC Chaos USA JAMMA board but I don't know if that would help.

**Just making sure, an original-label BTG has the name written in English right?

really cool Briggs.
just a nit pick but some of the games like quest of jong master, the quiz kof game
and the quiz NEO and GEO games never came out in english.
that's just awsome though.

Not nit picking at all. My hope is that through this thread we can come up with a full list of carts that are US only or JP only. Then I can get the database updated accordingly.

Thanks to Ocean for 2 new scans - they will be up shortly.

I have a US Pochi and Nya cart (I think the label is English; I'll check later). I don't have a scanner of my own, but I could ask my brother to let me use his at some point...

Good job on getting this up, by the way. It's definitely going to be a useful database.

Thanks, that would be great.

If you have a digital camera, that works too as long as you can shoot it straight on.

Very cool.

I had forgot about this project, awesome to see it's being rolled out, and hopefully soon we can get scans of every single label.

Nice work Briggs and everyone else.
