I just bought Aof3 and I saw something strange on this FAQ:

"Secret Chars/Bosses
----------------------
There are apparently one or several secret chars in the game, none have
been found thus far, but they might be "time-released". We shall have to
wait and see."

Are there secrets characters? Never heard of it.

but there is a note: Wyler and Sinclair is not selectable in MVS version, them appear in the characters select screen after 26 april 1996.

In the MVS version of AOF3, each character has a b-day, when the clock on
your MVS Mobo hits that date, that certain character can perform super moves
all day, making the character slightly overpower for the whole day.

Check out the FAQ here:
Neo-geo.com ---> FAQS ----> AOF3 ----> the second moves FAQ
this gives all the dates + codes for bosses too.

I read, but in this FAQ there is a mistake:

-Special Day occurs when your character is in is birth day, the good
thing is that he/she can use DM no matter how full his energy is.

is not correct, no super move in special day

Woaw, after a few days of playing, the only thing I can say about this game is that it's an absolute gem. The combos are quite easy to do and the characters are soo charismatic! I love Roddy, Katsumi, Ryo and Karman in particular.

A fucking game to own. Thanks to its price decreasing, I have been able to afford it and it's already a classic in my (small) collection.

One of the must have NG titles for sure. That thing is perfect. Too bad that Kasumi KOF incarnations don't make justice to her AOF3 version, graphic/animation wise.

Agreed.

I just start to find out some juggles and it's really cool to chain combos. That's the first time ever I discovered juggles.

The 'superior' AES version doesnt have birthdays on it

but then, you're on a MVS running as AES so it will.

I love this game.
I still say it looks better thean SF3 any day of the week.
I also say it plays better...That is if you can find people who can actually play it.
