Hey man, "LOL" all you want, I gave that guy useful information and, like you, he acted like a fucking douche nozzle.

Not everyone is aware of every game on the Neo, and I would not want my daughter (or son) to be exposed to some of the graphic violence in a few select Neo games. The nudity is secondary, but I would have a problem with my daughter seeing giant bouncing tits, covered or not, before she's hit puberty. But then again, if I had a daughter, I would care about her mental and physical well-being.

I didn't know how old this little girl is, what kind of cab or how many carts he has, or whether or not he wanted her to be spinning around a stripper pole when she turns 18.

I gave him a legitimate option to expose his kid to a lot of great arcade games for a negligible cost. He obviously doesn't care about whether or not his shit's real, so there is no difference between giving some bootlegger money or spending it on a used PC off Craig's List and giving his kid a lot more than just Neo Games.

Your a funny dude. Don't worry friend, one day you'll get laid and can stop worrying about petty bullshit and start focusing on important bullshit.

Glad someone sees the humor here. :make_fac:

There are a ton of reasons to not like the 150 in 1 cart. Nudity is the least of it.

Like I said the chance of the girls finding the 1 game out of 150 games that has a few frames of animation for 2 or 3 characters that are risque is pretty small

Hell, my Truck Stop pin is more overtly risque then KOG and I have no problems having that sitting in my game room.

Whatever though, some of us are more prudish then others I guess.

once you start a game, do you have to shut down the cab to quit, or is there a way to get back to the menu?

You don't have to shut down the cab. Just hold down the 1P start button for 5 seconds to return to the game selection menu.

Look man, I'm not trying to start some drama thread here, though you seem to be pretty determined to turn it into one.

I made it pretty clear that it was the violence of a few games in general that might be offensive to some small children.

Don't know why you feel the need to attack me on a personal level, but if you question my ability to get laid just PM me your home address. . .

You do realize that I made no mention of you in that post you quoted...pretty big ego you got there buddy.

But seriously, first you go on a tangent about a few frames of video game nudity and then you want my address to come over and fuck in front of me? Sorry. not into that shit. Trust me though, the irony is not lost on me here.

Cheers.

There is some sound glitching, resetting and the KOF variations are waaaaay over the top. I realized something with this many KOF's on one cartridge which I'll keep to myself.
I would only recommend these for the large 1 slot board as the boards/pcb's are setting in the cartridge WIDE where your cartridge fits very tight (takes more than normal effort to insert and remove)in the slot which will loosen the slot over time resulting in a poor fit/connection for normal carts in the future.

Like a MAME, which I've used a handful of times over the years, never to actually play but to grab screen captures,I've played a few titles using this that made me want the individual carts.

All in all I'm underwhelmed, something feels off.Definitely not something that replaces the library imo(how many actual games are here once you remove all of the KOF variations and + versions?) Thismaybe something to add to your collection as a novelty.

If this is the 150-in-1 your referring too then no there is no way to change the dip settings, that I know of. You are able to reset the game by holding the 1-player button for about five seconds though. Now before I bought this multicart I contacted the seller, Jammaboards.com, and asked a few questions. Turns out this version of multicart I bought works best on the Neo-Geo's original bios. It will still work with updated bios, I was told, but it may cause crashes and glitches. As for the games, there are a ton of fighting games, but the rest are not too bad, its got a few puzzle games, side scroll shooting, top down shooting, beat em ups, couple of sports games, and a few racing games. I did notice that on the cart it says Series 1 on it, so I am not sure if that's referring to the possibility of more 150-in-1 carts? As for my experience with the cart, its been pretty good, I have really only had one sound glitch with a game and one graphics glitch, aside from that it works great and I have spent hours playing the games. I did find that most of the fighting games are set to difficulty 8 and with no way to change the dip switch settings it gets pretty frustrating. Also a bunch of games are hacks of games already on the cart, so in truth your getting maybe 100 games with 50 hacks. Hope this helped you out some.

I stand corrected, you can change the soft dip settings after the games loads. :tickled: Now I can finally go back and play all those hard ass fighting games with out getting my butt handed to me.

So if you flip dip 4 & 5 on switch 1 on your mvs the 150 doesn't have a settings mode?

Is this confirmed on the 150-in-1 or are you just speculating that the roms on the 150 "could" be hacked to include nudity?

I didn't just say nudity, I said nudity and "other things"... blood, etc.

No, I'm just completely pulling that out of my ass.. I have no idea what I'm talking about...

I grew up with games like these, and I had access to Playboys...I didn't end up being a rapist, murdering pimp. People who worry about "24-bit" games turning their children into pole-dancing prostitutes are overprotective.

Yes, I'm referring to the banana colored Jammaboards one. It's the only 150-in-1 that I know of. and yes, I'm using a 1-slot completely unmodified.

Yeah, but you turned into a fucking douche....

All these things aside, why be wrong? I'm hardly overprotective, but you know what? I don't want my kids exposed to anything that even MIGHT be harmful to them in some way I can control... I think all "good" parents do. I'm not deluded into thinking I can keep my kids squeaky clean, but having a 6 year old seeing people chopped in half and showering themself in raining blood or Mai's snatch is pretty fucking idiotic. It's a symptom of good parenting, not the cause.

If you care about your kids, you're likely not to let them see that shit.. whatever.

The soft dip can be used to alter game settings. Period.

I can do that with the 120 too, but you can set default power on game specific settings by using hard dips 4 & 5 to change cart into a setting menu. I will post a video on youtube tonight.

I have that very same cart and you sure as heck CAN change the soft-dip settings. Simply select a game, when the system resets and the NEO-GEO logo appears, click the service button and you're in to the Soft Dips. Each game's Soft Dip can be saved individually though there is a limit on the number of soft-dips a motherboard will hold... then it starts writing over the oldest.

From the MENU you can NOT access the soft dips... you MUST click in to a game first.

Basically how these carts work is that the MENU itself is a "Neo-Geo program"... it loads up... you then select a game... at that time the neo-geo program in memory is swapped with the game you selected... and the system reboots. Upon reboot the system "sees" the 150-in-1 cart as the game you selected. At that time, the soft-dips are accessible.

Not particularly. I read the other one. It consisted mostly of people bitching about bootlegs and how you should support SNK by buying the originals even though they're not on retail anymore, etc., etc.

Yea I figured out you can change the soft dip settings about 10 min after I made that post, I corrected myself in a post right after my original. It is cool finding out I can change the soft dip settings though. Its almost like attaching a Game Genie. lol

If I had one wish it would be that you could set Soft-Dips in the MENU that translated to each of the games... that would make things much easier IMHO.

Oh, that and I wish Windjammers was included on the cart.

;)
