What are the exact links for these stores? I am interested in picking up a PGM 2. I loved the original KoV.

I was wondering why they released a new PGM system. Is this much more powerful than a normal PGM? How better do the games look on this?

One more question, the first PGM's Jamma connector was Neo Geo MVS compatible... is this the case with PGM 2 as well?

Yup, on PGM 2 just wire up the 4th button to pin C and 25 on your harness, and you'll have access to all the buttons.

It has just been brought to my attention that you can get a full Oriental Legends 2 kit OR Knights of Valour 2 for only $208, minus the shipping.

That is a helluva deal. When I bought my OL 2 kit I paid over $500.

if you've ever wanted to own the pgm2 hardware, now would be a good time to get one. heck, i'm even thinking of getting it again.

the price of $208 is for the motherboard and game only. If you want the data card reader they charge you an arm and leg for the shipping. you can purchase the data cards from them for $2 each but they charge $22 for 7-14 day shipping for 15data cards, which is extremely light. The price may seem cheap but the expensive shipping costs are certainly a big turn off.

The Kit cost $800. It came with Game, Motherboard, 2 manuals ( One for the PGM 2 and One for the game) and panel labels. Here are some pic's:

What's the difference between regular Ultimate Match and Hero? The title sounds just like those other Chinese bootleg games. Also why would SNK allow their supposed competitor to use their license on a game? Interesting..

I should be a pgm2 owner soon. Going to grab KOV 2 and Oriental Legends 2.

Question about languages, do the boards support multiple languages depending on dip switches or software setup? Excellentcom says the following for both kov2 and ol2:
"Chinese Title - But able to adjust into English language"

Also, I've heard that cards and languages don't mix. Can someone expand on that?

The difference between regular Ultimate Match and Hero:

No more loading times and slowdown.
The game balance is improved.
New 'skills' and some original moves are more 'efficient'.
Boss character will are fixed.
New stages.
CPU algorithm is fixed.
No BGM and SE bugs like original version

The reason it was licensed for the PGM 2 is that the hardware is very cheap as far as arcade units go. SNK wants to be very active in the arcade sector in as many areas as possible. The PGM 2 lets them do that without alot of overhead costs.
