I know you may have trouble understanding this, but:
It's not about you for once.
Show some fucking respect to the people who took one in the ass.
P.S. You hurt my feelings badly.. I am now very sad.
I got my New Astro City today, and fortunately I had a better experience than some of the others have had. After seeing the other posts, I was pretty worried about the NAC showing up, and seeing as how I am new to the hobby, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to deal with any major problems.
The cabinet on the inside was pretty dirty, and it will definitely take some cleaning, and the monitor has a little bit of burn in, but it's not noticeable when playing a game. Any suggestions on fixing it? Or would I pretty much need a new monitor?
The picture kind of has an "hour glass" thing going on with it at times. I was adjusting the monitor, and when there were black bars on the left and right side of the picture, it had the "hour glass" type image, it wasn't to big of a deal if you stretch the picture out, but if it is fixable, I would love to know how to fix it!
I also got a Blast City panel, not to big of a deal, I would love to get a New Astro City panel, so if anyone out there can help out, please let me know! The PSU was pretty dirty, and so far my CPS2 games, and one PCB play fine, but I took some pics, if anyone can let me know if it is the wrong PSU, or if it won't run certain mobo's, please let me know.
Also, what is the best way to mount a CPS2 mobo inside the NAC?
I am pretty new to the hobby, so any and all help and advice is greatly appreciated. This is my second cabinet (the first being a 4 slot MVS candy), and I am trying to learn more about it.
Alright now this came with a standard JAMMA harness, but then I also had these harnesses? Does anyone know what this is?

You got pretty lucky man. You might now want to lean that board on the power supply either.
You cannot fix burn-in, the only "fix" is a new monitor that doesn't suffer the problem. I don't know shit about the Sega cabs, but if there's a pincushion adjustment, that will fix your display issue. From your pic provided that is what it looks like. If it "caves in" on the sides w/black bars, it likely needs to be re-capped.
Nice choice on the TMNT, still one of my favorite games to play and one PCB I'll never sell.
He has to take the panel off the back and locate the pincushion pot.

Just find a tube that is compatible with that chassis and do the swap. CRT tubes you can pick up at recycling centers
Phosphors don't "get used to" a picture being on a monitor. They don't form habits. They are simply areas of a monitor where the phosphors are more aged than others.burn in you have to buy a new monitor, what happens is the phosphors in the tube are used to that picture being on since I am assuming that game was played for a very long time, no way to change that now.

How do you try to give an English lesson online and not know how to spell "putty?"How do you (form a habit)? is it like puddy? do you (take it (in your hands)) and (form the shape) to create it?

ookitarepanda switched me so I am good for the present time.
