I am sure many of you know Lukemorse1

My heart pours out to Luke my favorite "Youtuber" who tragically became too consumed in his hobby as I once was and could possibly lose his family.

I do not know his user name but I am pretty sure he is a member here.
This is a reminder to everyone to know what your priorities are and do not make this or any hobby your life focus.

Although I will severely miss his videos I would rather him get back with his wife and child, for all of their sakes.

Yeah, saw that this afternoon. Kinda like a wake up call to other people out there. It's really a shame. My prayers are with him and his family. Life > Hobby.

That is a shame and i used to tease him for how much he bought in video games.Well there's not much else to say but he did let the,hobby get out of controll.Maybe he can turn things around or not who knows.

Step one towards recovery: Stop referring to you wife and son as THINGS. They are not the two things that mean the most to you. They're not things at all. Seriously, how many times in that video does he refer to his wife and son as "two things"?

Anyhow, I hope things work out for him.

I found about about him about two months ago through HappyConsoleGamer. I really enjoyed all the passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to help others in his videos. His last video made me tear up a bit because I've been close to that situation with my fiance. It is definitely a real eye opener and wake up call. Just kinda makes you take a step back and look at what you have.

I love video games as much as the next guy, and there have been times when friends and family thought I had a "serious addiction". To me video games are a hobby and a passion, but I can only play for so long. No game can match and joy and happiness of spending quality time with your family or getting drunk and hanging out and being stupid with your friends. It's all about priorities.

It's unfortunate that Luke didn't have his in order and his hobby became his addiction and he was blinded by it. Hell, he went to that Hard Off store while his son was still in the hospital with a cold, because he needed "cheering up", and there's been a couple of videos with his son crying in the background. I'm not bashing the guy. I love what he did for the gaming and YouTube communities. Sometimes you just gotta stop and make sure what's really important.

People, this is why you only get married to a girl that likes video games nearly as much as you... you can be playing your Neo Geo in one room while she is in another and guess what? She doesn't lose her shit, because she's either on Chrono Trigger on SNES or downstairs playing Wii/PS3, instead off bitching "Why don't we go do something together, how about a bed and breakfast, doesn't that just sound boring as fuck?!? It'll be great!"

And you don't even have to install a fleshlight into your cab or anything!

Wow, his wife left him over video games?!? Wonder what she'd have done if she had caught him watching internet porn or spending his money at strip clubs. I guess supportive isn't in his wife's vocabulary. I mean c'mon, it's video games.

I've never heard of this guy, but so many thoughts and feelings rush into my head watching that video:

(1) Loser
(2) got married way too fast
(3) had a kid equally too fast
(4) didn't bother finding someone who supported him and his interests, these do people exist. I wonder if he just hooked up with the first person he screwed.
(5) how much of his total income was he spending on this stuff?
(6) ultimately, I feel bad for him --but I fear he's never going to realize that it might not be totally his fault.
(7) does this mean you'll be having a sale?

I don't feel that bad for him. There are people out there for everyone. His wife could've been completely irrational compared to the next one.

I'll offer $50 shipped for the cab, no more because its clearly "cursed" :lolz:
