any idea what that mod all involves? i'm in the same boat as the OP. Its been about a year or so since I've played a happ stick, any idea of how the feeling of the switches compares with the Seimits LS32 stock? It never occured to me to throw cherries in there.

LS-32 microswitches are levered so if you're looking for a replacement make sure they have this feature:

Exact replacement:
http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=AM51662C53N-A
(non-stocked but minimum quantity is 1 so it may be worth inquiring, if delivery time isn't too long)

Alternative replacement from Omron (same operating force, 200gf, as the originals):

Thanks alot MLK, i posted on the srk forums too. So youll probably see this again. lol
So i have two choices. Would everything feel the same between the two? Wondering if those Omron would last alot longer. I know omron are the ones that the jlfs use.

So what i plan to do for the LS32's is drop in new switches(when i decide which i want), put in new springs and clean up the shaft assembly and apply new lube to the pivot and that area.
That should be the main things im looking at, right?
thanks

Yes. Note that you could get a model with higher or lower operating force (engage would feel slightly stiffer or more loose), if you so wish.

If you check the durability in their respective datasheets, you'll see that the ratings for the number of mechanical and electrical operations are the same for both.

Thank you so much. I already emailed acouple of companies including the one you suggested. All of them dont have any in stock. So if nobody can get them in a reasonable amount of time ill go with the omrons. The USA office of mouser is located in TX too! lol
