I haven't had time to play this today but I did watch some of the bonus DVD. Its very well done.

Arakune looks like some grade A bullshit. He (it?) has some corner lockdown that looks almost impossible to escape.

This game is so fast at times and there's so much you can do that it confuses the hell out of me.

Guess that's just my fault for not playing GG that much.

Bonus DVD is great.

I know I can look up Strats/Combos online but it's a very cool way of getting newbs (like me) into the groove of things with the extras.

Yeah, after i posted I checked out the IGN review. Looks like a sweet package for the casual fighting game fan.

I was pretty set on getting the 360 version but the ps3 package looks sweet with that Blu-Ray video (vs DVD). I most likely won't do much online with it so it might have swung my vote.

Damn if the ps3 package doesn't look sexier. Now if there are reports of one version playing/performing differently (superior) over the other, then that will be important. How does the ps3 handle these new Taito Type X2 ports?

Geeze, Amazon hasn't even shipped mine yet... :mad_2:

To everyone who wants to buy the MadCatz SFIV sticks still:

X360
PS3

Free UPS 3 day shipping on the X360 stick.

Also, if anyone is looking for a nice stick for this game for the 360, looks like Arcadeshock has some HRAP Ex in stock for $129. Not sure how much shipping would be though...

http://www.arcadeshock.com/items/pr...de-pro-ex-for-xbox-360-horixboxpro-detail.htm

I've yet to use these on a fighting game, but I like them alot for shooters. May be a good opportunity to snag one since I think they go for quite a bit more on ebay.

Yeah, though honestly, I couldn't care less about the anime if I made a conscious effort.

It's not a question of what the system can handle. It's a question of how well the developers can handle the system. Assuming Arc System Works is at all competent, they should be completely identical.

:tickled:

I love this motherfucker, even though I haven't quite got the trap down yet.

He's a great button masher as well, as long as the opponent is cursed.

So, for all the conspiracy theorists out there, notice that the IGN logo is right there on the back of the bonus DVDs' box.

And IGN's reviewer pretty much spooged himself, repeatedly, in his review.

I assume the game deserves its positive scores and all, but um, you know.

Also the PS3 version supports remote play so you can play it on your PSP for the hell of it. (bonus)

The Blu-ray would be nice, but wow I don't want to need an arcade stick for both systems.

Any chance that BlazBlue (360) is NOT region protected?

Edit: No it's locked unfortunately.

It's just the DVD content on a bluray disc, right down to the menu structure. I just got teh Triple version because the packaging is nicer and the DS3 is a lot easier to use than the stock 360 controller.

What is it that everyone has against her, anyway?

Because the only reason she got her position as spokeswoman for IGN is because she gives 13-year-olds mini-tentpoles?

I'm sick of all these third-rate fashion model rejects telling me about the latest game releases/cheats/etc. This goes for Qore, PSN Pulse, G4, etc. As long as the person gets the information across clearly I could give any less of a shit how beautiful they are. It's insulting to me that the companies cater to my ballsack instead of my brain.

At least Trixie 360 or whoever on XBL is a BBW kinda, breaks up the pro-ana crowd. Come to think of it, XBL has a nice mixup of people who actually work in the areas they report on.

Thanks...

Yeah I'll either pick up the PS3 for the mentioned pad being better... or the asian 360 one I guess. I can't see my 360 arcade stick migrating from my Japanese console to my domestic one too often.

Sex sells, man. And I don't know about you, but I'd rather look at an attractive woman than an overweight, balding man any day.

lol Major Nelson

The joke around here is that a lonely IGN nerd was lonely one night used his spare Duck Hunt cartridges to make THE CHOBOT, the perfect female companion for gamers (pleasure model of course).

Let's hope THE CHOBOT never becomes self aware. :eye::eye:

According to Play Asia, the US 360 version works on JP/Asian 360 consoles.

Jessica Chobot is hot. I don't mind seeing her on the Xbox videos at all.
